Student Well-being
How are you feeling?
It’s perfectly normal to have negative feelings from time to time. This might be anxiety, stress, loneliness, or isolation. There might be things at school or home that you worry about. We all feel like that sometimes.
Don’t hesitate! talk to someone!
Maybe a trusted friend at first. A good friend may suggest you turn to an adult; parents or teachers, or a professional; school nurse, doctor or psychologist.
If you’re not feeling up to that here are some useful online resources which offer support in English. You can access some of the helplines. These telephone services are confidential and anonymous. The listeners offer non-judgmental listening for when you’re going through a difficult time.
Also take a look at some of the resources. They can help you understand how you are feeling and some strategies to help you manage.
Remember, we care about you. Whatever it is, don’t keep it to yourself.
